We respect your right to privacy. Your ability to make informed choices about the uses of your information is important to us.

This policy provides details on what information we may collect, why we collect it ,what we do with it, and how you can control your information. 

By visiting our website or using our services, you are entering into a legal agreement with us, consisting of this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use.

By "we" we mean Buddy&Soul - BUDDY AND SOUL FOREVER, LTD., the operator of website ("Buddy&Soul") and/or mobile/tablet applications and/or distant sites, social media sites, as well as services we provide such as online and offline educational courses and/or activities, ("Buddy and Soul" or " Platform" or “we” or “us”).

By "you" we mean the User - anyone who uses our services – visitors and registered users of our website. A visitor, member, basic member, premium member, community leader, Buddy, Master, or in any other capacity.

By accessing or using our services, you signify your consent to this Privacy Policy. You may use our services only if you fully consent to the practices described in this policy.

Users Age Limitation

Our services are not directed to persons under 13. 

Buddy and Soul does not knowingly allow sign-up and / or collect Personal Information from children under the age of 13. In the event you become aware that an individual under the age of 13 has enrolled without parental permission, please advise us immediately at support [at]

What kind of Information We Collect

We collect personal information regarding our visitors and users.

“Personal Information” means information that can be directly associated with a specific person or entity such as a name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, or information about activities directly linked to a person, such as that person’s activities using the Platform and/or device, browser, operating system, geolocation, IP address, and/or traits, moods and preferences. 

You are not required by law to provide us with any such information, but by using the Platform and agreeing to the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use you agree to provide us with such information.

How we collect the information

We collect information mainly from 3 sources:

  1. Information you give us
    We collect information when you register and/or subscribe to Buddy and Soul. To fully benefit from our services, you may be required to register and/or to subscribe, and to provide us with certain information, such as: name, email address, age and gender or Facebook or Google+ or other network accounts' information.
    We collect information when you contact us for any reason, and any other type of input you bring to Buddy and Soul.

  2. Your usage information
    We also collect Information when you make use of the Platform, for example: the content you read, share, like and add to, the ads and banners you click on, the courses and communities you join, your responses to surveys and questionnaires, the content you upload, written, recorded, filmed, or otherwise, such as but not restricted to pictures, the content you create when performing the personal development actions on Buddy and Soul, creating content, adding to content, commenting on content, writing in your Buddy and Soul journal, your input and responses during digital mentoring ("Coachat") and Session Talk and any other type of input you create when on Buddy and Soul.
    Likewise, we collect data regarding how you use our services, including the device you use, your location, the duration and times you use Buddy and Soul; we also collect data we track via various tracking devices and/or receive through partnering with other entities.
    We also use cookies to identify your device. A cookie is a small piece of text that is sent to a visitor's browser. The browser provides this piece of text to the device of the originating visitor when this visitor returns. Buddy and Soul uses cookies to help personalize your Buddy and Soul experience. A “persistent” cookie may be used to help save your settings and customizations across visits. Also, if you log into Buddy and Soul, such a cookie will be used to recognize you as a valid user so you will not need to log in each time you use Buddy and Soul. Most Web browsers are initially configured to accept cookies, but you can change this setting so your browser either refuses all cookies or informs you when a cookie is being sent. Also, you are free to delete any existing cookies at any time. Please note that some features of Buddy and Soul may not function properly when cookies are disabled or removed.

  3. Third party
    Information we receive and/or get from various applications and entities that collaborate with us. Such as, but not restricted to: devices that measure stress level, tools analysing social media content, and/or information from employers, insurers, academic institutions where the person is enrolled.

How We Use the Information we collect

We use the information we collect to make our services better and safer.

Internal use

To customize Buddy and Soul and personalize its content to be more suitable for you, to be able to contact our Users, to increase Buddy and Soul user experience, to help diagnose problems with our servers, and other internal uses.

External use

Buddy and Soul works with selected third party services and may share with them information that exists on the platform.

These third party entities can be:

  1. Third party vendors or service providers, such as email service providers sending emails on our behalf. We may also authorize third party vendors or service providers to collect information on our behalf.  We will require members of our corporate family and third party vendors to follow practices that protect your privacy rights on a level at least as restrictive as the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
  2. Business partners with whom we may jointly offer products or services, or whose products or services may be offered on our website. You can tell when a third party is involved in a product or service because their name will appear, either alone, or with ours. If you choose to use these products or services, we may share information about you, including your Personal Information, with those partners. Please note that we do not control the privacy practices of these third party business partners. If you wish that a third party will not use your information, please contact that third party directly. 
  3. Referring entities. If you were referred to our platform by a third party, such as a site (for example, through a link), we may share some information about you with that referring website. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third party that referred you here. Additionally, when you link to one of our partners from our Services, we provide that partner with a unique identifier so they know that you were referred from our Services. This unique identifier may contain some of your Personal Information. Referring entities include but are not restricted to – employers, insurers, medical providers, companies conducting or managing clinical trial, pharmacy chains, pharmaceutical and lifestyle companies, academic institutions, etc.

In addition, by analyzing all information we receive and/or accumulate, including all information concerning users and activity, we may compile statistical information across a variety of users (“Statistical Information”). Statistical Information helps understand trends and users' needs so that new products and services can be considered and so that existing products and services can be tailored to suit users’ desires. While statistical Information is anonymous, we may link Statistical Information to Personal Information. We may share such Statistical Information with our partners, without restriction, on commercial terms that we can determine at our sole discretion.

We will also use third party analytics providers such as, but not exclusively, Google Analytics to arrive at Statistical Information.

Other Uses or Transfer of Your Information

  1. We will fully cooperate with any law enforcement authorities, court order, regulation, or subpoena, requesting or directing us to disclose the identity, behavior or digital content of any user suspected to have engaged in illegal or infringing behavior. 
  2. In providing the Platform and our services, we may use subcontractors that are located in countries other than your own, and send them information we receive.  Keep in mind that some countries may have levels of protection of personal and other information which are not as high as in your country of residence or business.
  3. We may transfer our databases containing your Personal Information if we sell our business or part of it.

How you can manage your information

You have the ability to make informed choices about the uses of your information.

When you upload/contribute content, participate in forums and in session talk, provide feedback, including by means of Facebook, or communicate with other users, please remember that any information thus disclosed may be automatically made public. You should exercise caution when disclosing any information (including Personal Information) in such a venue, as you do not know who will access or use such information and for what purposes.

Please avoid posting any information, if you don’t want it to become publicly available.

Please note that should you become a Buddy (a senior user, that other users follow), other users will be able to view content relating your activities, such as what content you view, what courses you take and which communities you subscribe to (unless you mark them as ‘private’).

You can choose not to show your name on comments you enter, by selecting to post as ‘anonymous’.

You can view and edit your information in your profile page, under Settings. 

You can close your account anytime. If you want us to delete your identifying information, please send an email titled ‘Forget me’ to support [at] from the email address associated with your BuddyNSoul account. Once you’ve confirmed you wish to be forgotten, we will remove identifying information from our database, while maintaining de-identified information allowing us to conduct research for the purpose of improving our services, and helping users achieve personal development.

How we Protect your Information

We work hard to protect your information. We store our data on Amazon cloud services, which comply with the prevailing data security standards. We implemented security measures designed to protect the Personal Information  submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. We use top of the line cloud services, and comply to the current data security standards. Our servers are encrypted, and the network definitions are protected under various means, Firewall included. Our operating systems are up to date, and the communication with servers will be SSL encrypted.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

We encourage you to be careful, avoid submitting any sensitive information which, if exposed, could cause you major harm.

Third Party Sites and Services

Portions of the Platform (including, without limitation, advertisements) may involve linking to or using websites or services belonging to third parties. The Platform may also provide you with links to access the websites of third party vendors or retailers. We have no control over third-party websites or services, and all use of third-party websites or services is at your own risk. Buddy and Soul cannot accept responsibility for the privacy policies of any such websites. Buddy and Soul is not responsible for content or available by means of such websites or services. Buddy and Soul does not endorse any products or offered by third parties and we urge our users to exercise caution in using third-party websites or services.

How do we Communicate with you 

We may send you emails regarding the operation of Buddy&soul, such as registration, changing Personal Information, reminders for sessions you registered to, and more, as well as other commercial messages. By using the Platform, you affirmatively consent to receive such messages. As a registered member, you can remove your personal information from our mailing list and stop receiving future communication from us through your account settings. You will also be given the opportunity to unsubscribe from commercial messages in any such email or other message we send. Please note that we reserve the right to send you service related communications, including service announcements and administrative messages, relating either to your account or to your transactions on this site, without offering you the opportunity to opt out of receiving them unless you cancel your account. 

Policy Changes

Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will not reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy without your explicit consent. We will post any privacy policy changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice (including email notification of privacy policy changes). We will also keep prior versions of this Privacy Policy in an archive for your review.
